The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Programme has kicked-off at the EEP Phase 1 universities

The Managing Director/CEO of REA is committed to advancing gender inclusion and diversity in the energy sector and thus developed the EEP STEM Female Students Engagement Programme (EEP STEM Programme).

The EEP STEM Programme seeks to engage 20 female students from each of the EEP universities to enable them acquire hands-on practical experience in designing and constructing power plant systems, streetlights and training centres.

The goal of this initiative is not only to help the interns academically, but to expose and encourage more women to pursue an interest in STEM-related careers.
